FUTURE ATTRACTION, "ANOTHER REVOLUTIONARY WAR"
For anyone to not believe the rhetoric in last nights State of the Union speech by President Obama they either had to be brain dead or in a socialistic trance. First off was the "class warfare" bit, then the bullets flew at our most productive job creators, big business. Putting that aside, Obama gave the example of GM and Chrysler as evidence of what America can do. Both corporations rose from the dead under government bailouts and outright theft of private capital regarding Chrysler. These companies in whole or part would have survived a typical bankruptcy. But Obama wanted to preserve $80 an hour union jobs. Keystone XL was not mentioned, we wonder why. Another Obama blunder; Is he or isn't he for energy independence, 20,000 shovel ready jobs buried by the President.
Telling companies that out-sourcing is wrong, jobs need to be cultivated on the home turf. In some respects we agree. For instance, call centers; most of the time we get a person from India on the line. Obama has no problem funneling money to banks, but on the other hand he has no qualms with them letting the bankers fire workers at home and hiring Indians abroad. We suggest that he hire some REAL American Indians, Sioux, Apache, Pequots, Lakata, Comanche, Mohegan etc. They need jobs too.
What has upset the most is Obama's, too little - too late hand clapping for education. Washington has not been an education reformer. His education secretary has been literally shut down by the union led education industry. Obama has failed to address the life styles of the "poor and infamous" while he tongue lashes the "rich and famous". It is obvious that Obama has not traveled the inner city ghetto after moving into the White House.
And "spreading the wealth - pay your fair share" agenda is becoming old hat; something that you would expect from the socialist lips of Lenin, Castro and Chavez. The President is what we would call a 'first class arsonist' pouring more fuel on the fire of a socialist policy disaster. All responsible citizens can easily see that we are headed down the slippery slope of (no pun intended) Greece. Take the speech anyway you like, but in the end keep one thing in mind - does spending another trillion or two help us or hurt us; does it help those future generations who will have the obligation to pay the money back? did the 8 trillion already spent get us out of the greatest recession/depression since 1929?
In the end it will come down to " A NEW BOSTON TEA PARTY".
